She graduated from the University of South Carolina in December 2019 with a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting, where she studied with Dr. Alicia W. Walker. She is an alumna of Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, Voice emphasis. As a member of the Mississippi College Singers, she participated in performances in Carnegie Hall and at the 2014 ACDA Southern Division Conference. Yasmin is an active member in the National Association for Music Education and the American Choral Directors Association. Though passionate about music education and choral conducting, Yasmin is a frequently sought after soloist, having most recently performed at Palmetto Opera's "Opera Thursdays" at Villa Tronco in Columbia, SC.
